A spokesperson for Tunes on the Sands posted on Facebook: “We hope this message finds you well, in light of the current global situation and in a bid to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we are sorry to inform you that Tunes on the Sands 2020 will no longer be taking place. Keeping you our valued customers, the musician’s and our crew members safe is our number one priority. We are very pleased to announce the new dates for Tunes on the Sands will be 9th, 10th & 11th July 2021.

“We know many of you might have made plans by booking transport and accommodation for this year’s dates and for that we apologise for any inconvenience caused. However we know the majority of hotel and transport companies are now making free amendments, so we hope the majority of you will be able to take advantage of that.
All 2020 tickets will remain valid for the new 2021 dates. If you have any queries please email info@tunesfestivals.com

“Please remember we are a small team, but we will respond as quickly as we can. We hope you will support us in our decision; it is one that puts not just our passion but also our livelihoods in the balance like so many others in so many industries as a result of this pandemic.
We promise to bring Blackpool Sands another amazing Tunes on the Sands festival in 2021.
