A Ford Focus overturned in Windsor Road, Torquay this evening, 17th May.
Reports on social media suggest the car was being chased by police before it struck a vehicle, overturning and ending up on its roof.
The driver is thought to have left the scene.
People in the area have stated police have been searching on foot.
