Update: Road now open.
The A3022 Newton Road is partially closed due to a two vehicle collision this afternoon, Sunday 10 January.
Police are at the scene by the traffic lights opposite Torre train station.
The closure comes just hours after the road reopened following a serious collision this morning which closed the road until lunchtime (more here)
Traffic is coping well, diversions in place with no major delays.
