Late Night Sci-Fi Film Show at Torquay Museum

Fans of Classic science fiction films are in for a rare treat as Torquay Museum hosts a trio of back-to-back Sci-Fi classics in its 130 seat cinema from 6.45pm until late on Friday 17th March.

The films include the cult classic The Thing, directed by John Carpenter and starring Kurt Russell, set in a research facility in Antarctica where scientists stumble across the remains of an alien frozen in the ice for 100,000 years. The uncut version of the critically acclaimed Aliens, starring Sigourney Weaver and the late Bill Paxton, will also be screened, along with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Visitors are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. Indeed, there will be a Stormtrooper on site to welcome movie-goers into the Museum.
