Collectable Sci-Fi Toys Valuation Day at Torquay Museum

If you still have your old Star Wars and other Sci-Fi toys lying around in your attic gathering dust, then why not bring them along to a Collectable Toys Valuation Day at Torquay Museum on Saturday 24th June from 10am – 4pm to discover whether you may be sitting on a small fortune?

Collectable Toys Valuation Day at Torquay Museum will be run in association with Bearnes, Hampton and Littlewood Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers as part of a series of events organised to celebrate the Museum’s summer blockbuster Star Wars exhibition, May The Toys Be With You.

Bring along your Star Wars and Sci-fi themed collectible items and find out their value from expert Brian Goodison Blanks. Brian is the Head of the Maritime and Sporting Department at Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood with a special interest and expertise in Collectables and Toys.

Torquay Museum’s summer exhibition, May the Toys Be With You, runs from 17th June until 3rd September, showcasing one of Britain’s finest Star Wars collections. It features a large collection of some of the first Star Wars toys, posters and memorabilia produced, and also gives visitors the chance to get up-close to stunning life-sized replicas of Darth Vader, R2D2, a Stormtrooper, Yoda and a Boba Fett helmet and chest armour. There is also a full-sized Star Wars X-Wing Cockpit arcade video game that visitors can play, and much more.

The Museum has an in-house Stormtrooper and Darth Maul wandering its corridors throughout the exhibition, so visitors will get to meet them in the flesh whenever they visit.
