Screen on the Green is coming to Torquay from June 16 until July 10 2016
The 4 week event will feature Glastonbury, movies, music, Euros and Wimbledon.
Not only will there be a large LED screen on Torre Abbey meadow, there will also be a bar and other entertainment. Including this…
The 4 weeks will be broken down into themes:
‘Wild & Wacky Week’ 16th – 19th June 2016
Try out the bouncy castles – adult sized of course! (There will also be stuff for the kids). Challenge your friends and family on the obstacle course (See video above).
There will be movies, musicals and with the Euros on- you can cheer on your favourite team.
Grab a drink and enjoy!
‘Glasto On The Green Week’ 20th – 26th June 2016
Head down for live streaming of one the best music events in the UK. Glastonbury Music Festival, musically themed popular movies, live music and local bands. With a taste of festival, this week is sure to be a ‘not to be missed’ event.
Bring on the sunshine and cider.
‘Superhero Week’ 27th June – 3rd July 2016
Don’t miss the amazing Superhero weekend! Dress up as your favourite heroes and villains. Enjoy family time with activities and superhero blockbuster Marvel movies.
The Wednesday of this week sees the screening of some Zombie movies, (HINT- another fancy dress opportunity!) with a few scary surprises thrown in for good measure!
If you are anything like us, you need little excuse to dress up!
‘Fanzone Finals Week’ 4th July – 10th July 2016
The final week of Screen on the Green is set to go out with a bang! With an action packed week of sporting finals, here is your chance to cheer on your favourite footie team or enjoy the Wimbledon Finals, sitting in the sun, on our version of Murray Mount.
This is going to be awesome and we can’t wait. See you on the bouncy castle!
